Education today is very different then what it was even 10 years ago. Today’s teachers are expected to wear many more hats then just “Teacher.” Educators of today have to get able to fill many roles in the lives of their students. Some students may not be able to turn to anyone else when they need help.

My teaching style is based on inquiry learning. Inquiry based learning is the process of making observations, asking questions and then setting out to answer those questions. Inquiry learning is very important education, especially science. I am very excited to leave my students with the confidence to answer all of their questions out there waiting for them.

I believe that a teacher is morally obligated to enter the classroom with only the highest of expectations for each and every student. My students will achieve all of their goals through dedication, perseverance, and hard work. I believe it is my responsibility to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the classroom each day. It is my duty to bring consistency, diligence, and warmth to my job in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in my students.

One of my main goals that I will work on every day is to instill a sense of confidence in my students. I want every student to have the confidence that they can achieve any dream they may have for themselves. I believe my students need to be able to learn in a safe environment where there is no fear of failure. Failure is the best way for everyone to learn and be successful.
